CSUF Holiday Greetings 2023

Dear CSUF Supporters,
Thank you all for your continued contributions to the Canadian Support Ukraine Foundation.
The past year has been challenging for so many but we are so proud of the community of support you have helped us build with CSUF.
When the war first began in February 2022, I like so many, could not comprehend what I was seeing. It is difficult to know what to do or how to help those who are suffering such immense devastation. Without hesitation, Dale and Andriy came up with a plan of action.
Many have asked why CSUF registered as a Foundation rather than a Charity. There are two reasons for this designation.
Firstly, Dale and Andriy started CSUF in the most efficient way possible. The citizens of Ukraine were in desperate need of immediate support. Registration as a charity in Canada can be a long process, a luxury that the Ukrainian people did not have.
Secondly, CSUF’s status as a Foundation allows us to provide support to the most critical areas. Today it may be coats and boots for children, tomorrow it may be drones at the front lines and next week it may be food and medical supplies to the elderly. CSUF is available to apply your donations to any of these needs without delay. Andriy’s monthly updates show the diverse support that CSUF has provided.
The outpouring of support has been overwhelming. It is hard to believe that we are approaching the second anniversary of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine but we are hopeful for the future as the Ukrainian people continue to show us their strength and endurance.
We are incredibly grateful for the CSUF donors and volunteers who have continued to demonstrate their unwavering support of Ukraine. No matter how you may celebrate at this time of year, it is a time for family, friends and reflection. CSUF thanks you and wishes all the best to you and your families.
We are hopeful that 2024 will bring more peace, understanding and love and CSUF will continue to make a positive impact on the world.
