September 2024 Update

Friends of Ukraine,

It has been another busy month at CSUF. Part of what makes CSUF special is our ability to identify and adapt to the most urgent needs on a day-by-day basis. This update in particular will show the variety of
support provided and how impactful your generosity is.

First, thank you for your donations which allowed us to provide replacement equipment to the soldiers on the front lines. We have bought two monoculars. They were sent directly from the shop to the soldiers on the front lines as it was such an urgent need. It’s very hot at that direction right now. It was a matter of life and death and we did our best to supply them as quickly as possible. The soldiers are using them and passed on their sincere gratitude to everyone who has donated. I am waiting to receive the video and photos which I will share with you.

We have provided a powerful 7.5 kW generator for a family that hosts and supports orphaned children, including some from the eastern part of the country. At this moment they have 12 kids living in their place.
I have visited them and could see how well the children are taken care of. The generator will help keep their fridges on (there are quite a few and they are huge) at this time of such frequent power shortages. It
was the most important thing we could help with as the previous generator burned down. It will also let them have heating at home in winter. Thank you so much!

We continue our support of the elderly including supplying firewood. For many, this will be their only source of heat this winter.

Together with our Australian and American friends, we have supplied a National Guard unit performing some very specific tasks with equipment such as laser range meters, weather stations, and camouflage.

We always know where the support we provide goes and how important it is. It’s always delivered to where it’s needed the most. The thank you video is below. Just listen to their voices.

The next stage of the project with the soldiers of the military unit which specializes in hunting the shahed kamikaze drones has been provided by our Australian friends. Twelve more sets of special gabions have also been installed to protect different pieces of very important equipment from shrapnel.

We continue to help the soldiers repair their vehicles, as well as supply such essential things as the Starlink units used for connection and tourniquets.

Another important and expensive piece of equipment supplied together with the Australian friends is the electronic warfare unit that will protect their vehicle from the kamikaze drones operating on 4 different frequencies. It was made on order, to cover the frequencies the soldiers asked for and the vehicle is used to deliver staff and ammunition.

thank you electronic warfare

Here is the thank you video from the soldiers:

We may be a small part in the fight for Ukraine but we hope you can feel how appreciated your support is and the incredible impact you continue to make every day.

Thank you and love from Ukraine.

Andriy
