I would like to share an update on our latest efforts to support Ukraine. Our priority remains helping the army, as we believe that strengthening Ukraine’s defenders is the fastest and most reliable way to protect the country and move closer to peace. A lot has been achieved.
With the help of our Australian friends, we have purchased a van for one of the units of the 92nd Assault Brigade to substitute the damaged one which was mentioned in the previous update. For the soldier, coming to collect it was a chance to spend 2 days with his daughter and his wife. See his mother.
This Renault has become a VW to honor the old vehicle. Jokes help to carry on a lot. We have serviced the vehicle, and it’s already in the east and in the sector where it should be, performing the missions to carry the drone and repair crews.
We have kept helping soldiers of different units with such crucial things as
Drone detectors. They help see danger early and have time to react. Some can even transmit a video signal of the enemy’s drone, as in the video below.
Starlinks to make sure the units have a connection, and soldiers can be in touch with the families waiting for them back home
Winter tires are crucial at this time
Batteries to charge drones and other equipment
Night vision devices to detect the enemy, defend positions, and survive
3d printer to help with the drones operation
and other.
We have also kept supporting Dr. Nedielev, the neurosurgeon of Mykolaiv Regional Hospital and his team. This time, we have purchased a set of special sliding sheets which help them transfer the most difficult patients from one bed to another. Thank you from Mykolaiv!!!
Things at the front are tough and we must ask you to keep supporting the Ukrainian military. We are starting a fundraiser for Fenix, which is one of the most effective drone units in Ukraine, and we’ve named it “1000 for 100.”
This beautiful, authentic “1000 karbovantsi” banknote was the paper currency of the independent Ukrainian state of 1917-1920.
Some made their way to Canada more than 100 years ago, along with the dream of a better life. Wanting to support Ukraine defend against putin’s evil, the grandson of an early Ukrainian immigrant from Bukovyna has donated a limited number of them to CSUF.
These bills are in excellent condition, and CSUF is offering the first fifty donors “1000 for 100” – we will send you a 1000 karbovantsi note for a minimum donation of $100US. The need is urgent and real. The video below details what the “boots on the ground” are asking for, which is where 100% of all donations will be directed. You can make your nontax-creditable contribution on our website. Please write “1000 for 100” along with your mailing address in the “Additional Comments” section. A lot of people donating even a little will make a big difference.
Слава Україні!
Love from Ukriane and thank you for everything you do for us.
