I would like to start my update with a screenshot of my correspondence with the soldier of the Fenix UAV unit, callsign Sokil, who you saw in the video published in the previous post.
It was received on Jan 30, and it says that the “Chuyka” drone detector, which we bought as part of our “1000 for 100” fundraising initiative, has already saved the life of a soldier.
This “Chuyka” detector captures the video signal from the enemy’s kamikaze drone’s camera and displays it on the device’s screen. It lets one have time to change position depending on where the drone is aiming to hit. Or just hide better.
We managed to purchase all the equipment that we raised funds for. And here is the thank you video from Fenix.
The boys are holding the pump-action shotguns we bought for them, as the place where the video was recorded is not safe in terms of the FPV drone attacks. The guns are used to shoot down the enemy’s drones in case of attack. But for these guns, we have purchased
2 Chuyka drone detectors mentioned above Ecoflow powerstations, 2 p. Webasto heaters, 2 p. Jump starters, 2 p. Inverter generators, 3 p. Starlinks, 2 p.
It’s substantial support for this particular unit, enabling it to perform its combat tasks. Fenix consistently ranks among the top three Unmanned Aerial Vehicles units of Ukraine. The direct support of the military is the best way to end this crazy war. The boys are very grateful for your help, and here are the pictures they sent every time they received the next part of the equipment we purchased.
We keep supporting other units with things that are extremely important at this time: gas for heating food and cooking at remote positions, winter tires, starlinks and many other things. Below is just part of the thank you pictures and the certificates of appreciation received from the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade and Unmanned Systems Battalion “SIRIUS” of the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Armed Forces of Ukraine): A military unit specializing in the employment of combat drones, destruction of enemy equipment, and frontline reconnaissance.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you, the donors of CSUF, and our AU friends for making it all possible. Please keep going. You can’t believe how important your support is for us.
